What are the system requirements?
Must be running Basis Business Basic VPRO/5, rev 2.05 or later. Or BBj.
Running under the new Basis BBj, the MenuExpress system
can now run on essentially any environment, including Unix, Linux, etc.
How do I install the programs?
On Windows, simply run 'SETUP.EXE' and follow the instructions. The MenuExpress
system will automatically be loaded into the same directory where the current
Basis system is installed. An icon will be placed in the programs list for
starting MenuExpress . For
Unix/Linux it is only necessary to creae a folder and expract
Do I need to modify all may current programs to interface
with MenuExpress?
No. All your current programs can remain unchanged. The only
program that needs to be initially modified is the current menu program to
redirect the system to return to MenuExpress.
Where does the user return to after
running a program?
The user wll return to the last menu they initially ran the program
from.
What can be used for menu backgrounds?
Any bitmap image file located anywhere on the system. Just give the
full path and MenuExpress
will find and use it.
Is there a Demonstration available?
